NKBA Maine in partnership with Decor Maine magazine, our Master Sponsors and our event sponsors are excited to bring to our members our first design contest in over 8 years. 

This unique opportunity is open to all Maine NKBA members. 
We have award categories for designers, builders, cabinet makers, fabricators and suppliers.

AWARDS: 
* Winning entry published in the February 2022 Decor Maine Kitchen (and bath) issue.
*Monetary awards $250/$150/$100.
*Peer recognition
*Reduced rate advertising in the September 2022 edition of
Decor Maine. The reduced rate is ONLY available to NKBA Maine Chapter Members or Corporate Industry Members.

Design Competition Categories:

The 2021 competition is divided into three categories:
 Kitchens, Bathrooms and Specialty.         

Kitchen:
         Before and After Kitchen -1^st and 2^nd place
          Large Kitchen (more than 250 sq feet) – 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place 
          Small/Medium Kitchen (less than 250 sq feet)- 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place

Bathroom:

          Before and After Baths - 1^st and 2^nd place

          Large Bathroom (more than 55 sq feet) -1^st and 2^nd place

          Small/Medium Bathroom (less than 55 sq feet) - 1^st and 2^nd place

          Powder room – 1^st place

Specialty Rooms/Features: (this is especially for our member fabricators and suppliers)

          Other room (outdoor kitchen, office, mudroom, laundry, pantry, etc.) –
                                                                         1^st and 2^nd place

          Countertop design - 1^st place

          Backsplash – tile or other material. - 1^st place

          Custom Showers – 1^st place

          Custom woodworking or design detail (these would be small specialty cabinets, design details, or something “out of the box” cool.) - 1^st place

Please note the submittal deadline is an November 29th postmark. Winners will be announced at our Awards Ceremony, Friday, April 29^th, 2022 at The Governor Hill Mansion in Augusta.

An Entry fee of $25 is required for each entry.  You can pay online on this site or mail a  check with your entry made out to the NKBA MAINE Chapter.
